Child Safety Standards
Last updated: May 1, 2026
These standards describe Gruvo's public policies and operational practices for preventing, reporting and responding to child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Emergency and immediate danger
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the relevant child protection authority first. Gruvo reporting channels are not an emergency service.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
Gruvo prohibits any content, conduct, solicitation, grooming, sexualization, exploitation, trafficking, coercion or attempt to obtain, share or distribute child sexual abuse material. This applies to profiles, groups, chats, events, online rooms, images, videos, audio, links and any other user-generated content.
Age-appropriate service design
Gruvo is designed for adults and is not directed to children. Our Google Play target audience is 18+. We do not knowingly allow children to use the service, and we may restrict, remove or report accounts where age, safety or exploitation risks are identified.
Reporting inside the app
Users can report unsafe behavior, profiles, groups, activities, messages and content from the relevant app surfaces. Reports involving child safety are treated as high priority and may lead to content removal, account restrictions, evidence preservation and escalation to competent authorities.
Designated safety contact
For urgent child safety or CSAM concerns, contact the developer safety point at marzulli124@gmail.com. For privacy and account data requests, users may also contact privacy@gruvo.io.
Moderation and enforcement
Gruvo may review reported content, remove violating material, suspend accounts, block repeat offenders, limit risky interactions and preserve relevant account or technical information where needed for safety, legal compliance or abuse prevention.
Legal compliance and authority reporting
When Gruvo becomes aware of suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation, we act according to applicable law, including reporting to regional or national authorities and cooperating with valid legal requests where required.
User education and prevention
Gruvo encourages users to avoid sharing sensitive personal information, to meet safely, to use blocking and reporting tools, and to immediately report any behavior involving minors, coercion, exploitation, sexual solicitation or abusive content.
How to report
Use the report controls available in the app whenever possible so the report is connected to the relevant profile, group, activity, chat or content.
For urgent child safety concerns, email marzulli124@gmail.com with the subject line "Gruvo child safety report" and include the account handle, content link or details needed to identify the issue.
Do not forward, repost or redistribute suspected CSAM. Provide only the minimum information needed for review and preserve the original context if safe and legal to do so.
